Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mix of comfort and inconvenience. The rooms were exceptionally comfortable, but the small size and lack of essential amenities like multiple chairs and restocked coffee made the experience a bit challenging. The service was friendly and helpful overall, though there were some instances where it seemed a bit overstretched. The location was convenient for exploring the Normandy beaches and Bayeux, offering a peaceful setting with lovely surroundings. The dining experience was lacking, with questionable value for money and limited staff presence, making it less than ideal. Despite the minor hiccups, the facilities were adequate for my needs.
Staying in a baking hot attic room may not be ideal for a couple due to limited space and the pricey menu that keeps the restaurant quiet in the evenings. However, the room offers a coffee maker and a shower/tub combo, making it comfortable for solo travelers and the proximity to Bayeux's dining options compensates for the high menu prices.
